Continuous improvement in products, services, and delivery are always top of mind at ClimateMaster. Currently, we paint the service access panel on our Tranquility® TY Compact Horizontal and Vertical Units, while the rest of the unit is unpainted galvanized steel.

Because these units are installed in ceiling plenums or closets, the need for painting on typical installations does not add value. We talked to customers and they agreed. Beginning on May 1, 2018, Standard TY units will now be galvanized only.

If for some reason, you require paint on the access panels, please submit a special request via the online business center. If you have an open order that needs to ship with painted panels, please contact your customer service representative.
