If you are a fan of comic books or a look into yesterday, you will appreciate this vintage sales tool. ClimateMaster created “The Adventures of Captain ClimateMaster” comic book back in the 1980’s as an eye-catching brochure for the commercial line of geothermal heat pump and water-source heat pump products.

Targeted to architects, engineers and contractors, the main character in the comic book, Leon C. Peon, is a mechanical contractor who is running out of time to complete the construction job.

Leon is waiting to the eleventh hour for heat pumpsto be delivered, but luckily stumbles upon a brochure from ClimateMaster, who can deliver heat pumps to Leon quicker than the competition.

The next day, the spectacular Captain ClimateMaster shows up on the job site, mightily holding a heating and cooling unit above his head. Captain ClimateMaster delivers all of the desired heat pumps, saving Leon’s bacon.

Though a lot things have changed since this comic book was produced back in the 80’s, ClimateMaster’s commitment to manufacturing quality geothermal heat pumps has not.

True in the days of Captain ClimateMaster and still true today, ClimateMaster is still the world’s largest and most innovative maker of geothermal heating and cooling systems to help you save money on energy bills and be environmentally responsible.
