Celebrating Geo Day, This Time at a Doctor’s Office
May 28, 2015 – As the world’s largest and most innovative maker of geothermal heat pump systems, we love to celebrate anything to do with our technology that lowers utility bills and creates eco friendly homes.
Does our site have a lot of these? Guilty as charged. But when there are more than 1 million geothermal units in American homes, and even more in use at businesses across the country and world, there are endless success geothermal stories.
Anyway, this testimonial comes out of Bayonne, N.J. A recent article in The Hudson Reporter titled ‘Cutting-Edge Shrink’ talks about a local psychiatrist who just moved his practice downtown.
Paul Hriso, M.D., had a geothermal system installed in his new office, which is adorned outside and inside with artwork and metalwork created by his father.
But how is Hriso’s geothermal heat pump system performing? Is he saving money on his energy bills? From the article:
He installed a geothermal heating and cooling system to the four-story, 12,000-square-foot building. Not only is it energy efficient, it also costs only 30 cents to the dollar compared to a conventional system.
…“I just looked it up and researched it online, and it made sense,” he said. “It’s incredibly efficient. You get a lot of heat and you get a lot of cold, for the air conditioning.”
